Bringing consumer electronic devices to UAE and Qatar?

I am hoping for soon relocation to the region, and wondering is it worth bringing personal consumer electronics (laptop, digital camera, etc) from Europe, i.e. are there customs procedures to be aware of and are these items easily replaceable in UAE and Qatar in terms of prices when comparing to Europe average. I am aware that UAE and Qatar are well supplied, I am just wondering on convenience.

   well i am not sure if there will be a big difference in prices because you got taxes in Europe but in Dubai they don’t (that’s what i know)
