I am wondering if there are websites that most people go to when they are looking for information on smart phones (or any electronic products in general)?

In the United States, are companies required to support electronic products, or any type of products for that matter, for a certain number of years? By support I mean either through product support or even supplying spare parts. If so, does this also apply to Connecticut. The best answer should include a citation to your source!

Regarding, consumer products and purchases, who displays more brand loyalty, men or women?

I have a suspicion that men are more inclined to buy what they’ve always purchased, even if a similar/identical product sells for less, whereas women are more economy-minded and will buy a cheaper version of the same product.

For example, my husband will only use one specific brand of mouthwash, even though the store brand is (to me) identical and cheaper.

(Not sure how to categorize this question. Maybe a new classification needs to be established for shopping and (non-electronic) consumer products.)

Wise Idiot asked:

this is particularly hard, due to the advent of the World Wide Web since there are so many venders available to buy from, clearly reliability is in question.
also which electronic products should be purchased new vs. old
should there be a return policy? if so, with which types of products
Lastly, is state-of-the-art necessarily better? what are the limits on how old or obsolete a product should be before it needs replacement?

Which of the electronic stores like Circuit City rent shelf space and how does the process work?

Joe B asked:

I like to sell a product that can compliment electronic products that these stores carry. I would like to find out how I can go about having the stores carry my product. Do they normally just rent a part of the shelf space they have or do they actually buy the product so that they can sell it themselves? Either way how can I get started in doing this? Also are there companies who help in getting me started without charging a lot of money?
